Premium Exam Prep · Gritty-Tech

Your Dream University Score Starts With the Right Strategy.

Expert SAT and ACT preparation built around your current score, your target, and your application deadline — with certified mentors and a strategy that works.

The SAT and ACT are not just knowledge tests — they are strategy tests. The students who score highest are the ones who understand the exam's structure, know which question types reward speed and which reward care, and have practised with real test conditions enough times that exam day feels familiar. At Gritty-Tech, our SAT and ACT programme pairs AI-powered, skill-based learning with certified mentors who know these exams in depth. Every student begins with a free diagnostic test, and every session that follows is built around closing the specific gaps that stand between their current score and their target.

Why GrittyTech

Why Students Choose GrittyTech for SAT & ACT Preparation

A strong SAT or ACT score can open doors to universities that would otherwise be out of reach. Getting there requires more than practice tests — it requires the right strategy, applied consistently, with a mentor who knows what the score differences actually look like.

Certified SAT & ACT Mentors

Every mentor specialises in the specific exam they teach — SAT or ACT — and has a track record of consistent score improvements across Reading, Writing, Maths, and Science (ACT). No generalists. No guesswork.

AI-Powered, Skill-Based Learning

Your preparation plan adapts based on your diagnostic results and mock test performance — automatically shifting focus to the question types and sections where you are losing the most points.

Score-Targeted Study Plan

We don't build a generic plan. Your mentor builds one around your specific score gap — the difference between where you are now and the score your target universities expect.

Full-Length Timed Mocks, Reviewed Thoroughly

Every mock test is conducted under real exam conditions — timed, full-length, and scored exactly as College Board or ACT would score it. The review session after is where the real learning happens.

Application Deadline Awareness

Our mentors work backward from your university application timeline — so your preparation peaks at exactly the right moment, with enough time to retake if needed.

Mentor Replacement Guarantee

If your mentor isn't the right fit after your first session, we replace them the same day at no cost. Your exam date doesn't move — so neither should your preparation.

How it works

Our Approach & Methodology

How We Build a Score-Targeted Preparation Plan

1

Free Diagnostic Test

Every student begins with a full-length diagnostic test under real timed conditions. We identify exactly which sections, question types, and time-management habits are costing you the most points. This is not an intake form — it is the actual foundation of your preparation plan.

2

Score Gap Analysis & Mentor Match

Based on your diagnostic score and target, we calculate your exact score gap and match you to the right mentor within 24 hours. You meet them in a free trial session before any commitment is made. If the match is not right, we rematch you immediately.

3

Section-by-Section Study Plan

Your mentor builds a week-by-week plan targeting your weakest sections first, then reinforcing your stronger ones. Every week includes concept review, timed practice, and at least one full section drill.

4

Full-Length Mocks & Detailed Review

Regular full-length mock tests under real exam conditions track your progress and build the stamina to perform across a full sitting. Every mock is followed by a structured review session where every wrong answer is understood, not just corrected.

Curriculum

What's Covered

Section-by-Section Coverage for SAT & ACT

Evidence-based context

SAT: Reading & Writing

Evidence-based comprehension, vocabulary in context, grammar and usage, and information synthesis across literary, scientific, and historical texts. Emphasis on eliminating distractors and using evidence from the passage efficiently.

Core frameworks

SAT: Mathematics

Algebra, advanced Maths, problem-solving and data analysis, and geometry. Both calculator and no-calculator approaches covered, with heavy focus on the question types that appear most frequently and reward specific strategies.

Pacing & syntax

ACT: English

Punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills — tested across five prose passages. Speed is essential: 75 questions in 45 minutes. We train for both accuracy and pace.

High-yield topics

ACT: Mathematics

Pre-algebra through trigonometry and basic matrix concepts. 60 questions in 60 minutes — one minute per question. Calculator allowed. We focus on the high-yield question types that appear most reliably.

Strategic tracking

ACT: Reading

Four passages across prose fiction, social studies, humanities, and natural sciences. 40 questions in 35 minutes. We train students to read strategically — not exhaustively — and locate answers efficiently.

Data reasoning

ACT: Science

Data representation, research summaries, and conflicting viewpoints — tested through graphs, charts, and experiments. No prior science knowledge required. This is a reasoning test, and we teach exactly how to approach it.

What Students Say About GrittyTech

Aanya Mehta

Stanford University, Class of 2028

SAT 1540

My mentor didn't just give me practice tests — she rebuilt my entire approach to SAT Reading. I had been reading every passage in full before answering, which was costing me ten minutes per section. She showed me how to work the questions first. That one change alone added 80 points to my score before we even touched the Maths. I finished at 1540.

Sofia Alvarez

Georgetown University

ACT 34

I tried preparing on my own with a prep book for three months and my ACT score barely moved. My GrittyTech mentor looked at my practice test data and immediately spotted that I was spending too long on ACT Science passages. Six sessions later, I had a system that worked. My composite went from 27 to 34.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions Students and Parents Ask Most

Both are accepted by virtually all US universities, so the right answer depends on your strengths. SAT suits students who are comfortable with evidence-based reading and methodical problem solving. ACT suits students who work well under time pressure and are strong in science reasoning. Your free diagnostic test will help us recommend the better fit.

It depends on your current score and your target. Most students see meaningful improvement within 6 to 8 weeks of consistent preparation. Students aiming for significant jumps (150+ SAT points or 4+ ACT composite points) typically benefit from a 10 to 12 week programme.

Every plan starts with a full-length diagnostic test. Your mentor analyses your results section by section and builds a week-by-week plan targeting your lowest-scoring areas first. The plan is updated after every mock test based on your actual progress.

We generally advise focusing on one exam at a time for the best results. However, if your timeline allows, your mentor can help you sit both and identify which attempt yields the stronger score for your applications.

Mock tests are full-length, timed under real exam conditions, and scored exactly as College Board or ACT would score them. Every mock is followed by a mentor-led review where each wrong answer is analysed — not just counted.

Tell us after your first session and we will rematch you the same day at no cost. Your exam date is fixed — your preparation should not lose a week to a mismatch.
